A new design for the NORM heat pump – metal-coated steel was used instead of the plastic „chassis", and R32 refrigerant is used.
Pool heat pump NORM offers high energy savings compared to traditional pool heating methods. The difference is the high energy saving by extracting heat from the air.
The principle of heat extraction of an air heat pump is transferring thermal energy from the air to the subcooled refrigerant inside the heat pump. Compressing the refrigerant with a compressor produces heat, which we use to heat the pool water.
