The number of jets is a simple number at first glance, but when choosing a hot tub, it's not just the quantity that matters. What matters is what jets are in the hot tub, where they are located, and what kind of massage they actually create.

Direct nozzles

A straight jet directs the water stream directly to a specific spot. It is suitable for targeted massage, point pressure and simple massage positions. In a well-designed spa, straight jets have their place, especially where the stream needs to be precise.

Rotary nozzles

A rotary jet creates water movement in a circle or a wider area. The massage does not only affect one point, but works with a larger part of the back, shoulders or legs. This is why rotary jets are important in hot tubs, which are intended to offer a more pronounced and pleasant hydromassage.

Why it's not enough to compare just the number of nozzles

Two hot tubs with the same number of jets can massage completely differently. The type of jets, pump performance, air regulation, seat ergonomics and the layout of massage areas are decisive. A hot tub should be pleasant for the whole body, not just paper-thick in a catalog.

Rotary jets for IDOL hot tubs

The IDOL series features rotating jets, one of the main selling points. They are designed for customers who want a more pronounced massage and luxurious bathing experience. The Family and Lite series use a combination of rotating and direct jets, depending on the focus of the specific model.

How to choose massage places

  • Think about which parts you need to massage the most — your back, neck, hips, or feet.
  • Seats and loungers have different jet layouts — try them out in person in the showroom.
  • Choose the rotary jets where you want a deeper and more extensive massage.
  • Direct jets are suitable for targeted pressure on a specific point.
  • The power of the pumps is also important — more jets without adequate power will weaken the massage.
