An automatic device that measures the pH of the water. For trouble-free operation of a hot tub or swim spa pool, it is essential to have the correct water pH. The water must be neutral, which is pH 7; we try to keep the water pH around this value, roughly 6.8 to 7.6. Every disinfectant you use to treat the water is able to work only at the correct pH; the optimal pH value for a particular disinfection is always stated on the package leaflet. If the pH of the swim spa pool water is wrong, the technology is damaged (motors, heating, thermal cover, headrests, jets, seals, etc.) and the disinfection capability is reduced. This results in poor water quality and damage to the technology. The pH automation measures with a pH probe and always doses only one component for pH adjustment. It cannot dose both components for pH adjustment, i.e. pH minus and pH plus.
