Hot tub buying guide
You buy a hot tub once every 10-15 years. On the market, honest production meets imports, where the only parameter is price. We have written down what to check before signing an order — this applies to our hot tubs as well as to our competitors.
8 things that make a difference
1. Acrylate
A bathtub made of cast sanitary acrylic retains its color and shine even after years of being outdoors in the sun and in chemically treated water. Ask who the acrylic manufacturer is and what the warranty is. With us, it's 15 years.
2. Insulation
The most common place where cheap hot tubs save. A year-round outdoor hot tub must have an insulated body, floor and a high-quality thermal cover. Specific numbers can be found in the article How much does it cost to operate a hot tub per month?.
3. Components
The control unit, pumps and nozzles determine the service life and serviceability. The proven standard is Balboa, Gecko and Waterway.
4. Warranty
„"5 year warranty" means nothing until you know what it's for. With IDOL SPAS: 15 years acrylic, 5 years construction, 2 years technology and components.
5. Service
A hot tub is a technological device. Make sure that the seller has its own service technicians in the Czech Republic. We service hot tubs of all brands throughout the Czech Republic.
6. Electrical
Hot tub in the socket It is easier to install, 400 V heats up faster and gives a stronger massage. Operating costs are mainly determined by insulation.
7. Location and substrate
A hot tub with water and people weighs over two tons. It needs a flat, paved area, access for moving, and ideally a leeward side.
8. Live testing
The ergonomics of the seats and the position of the jets cannot be seen from the photos. Come and compare the models in the showroom in Modletice u Prahy or start in configurator.

Frequently asked questions
What is a reasonable price for a quality hot tub?
Depending on size and equipment. Below a certain limit, high-quality acrylic, insulation and branded components physically cannot fit. Build a specific model in configurator.
How long does delivery take?
For us, 10–30 days including custom modifications, because we manufacture in the Czech Republic. For imports, expect weeks to months and the fact that modifications are not possible.
