Hot tubs for guesthouses and hotels

A hot tub sells rooms. But a "home" one won't work in a guesthouse.

Wellness is the strongest argument in the accommodation offer today — a room with a jacuzzi sells for more and occupancy is maintained even in the off-season. The catch is what most operators only find out about hygiene: A guest hot tub is not a home hot tub. It is a "bathing pool" by law — with all the obligations that come with it. We manufacture commercial hot tubs that are built for this mode — and because we are a manufacturer, we will tailor the technology to your operation.

What the law says (and why it matters when choosing a hot tub)

Once you provide bathing as a service to guests, you are operator of an artificial swimming pool (Act No. 258/2000 Coll.) and a jacuzzi with water above 28 °C is swimming pool according to Decree No. 238/2011 Coll. This results, among other things:

A typical private hot tub has a volume of around 1–1.5 m³ — so in commercial mode you would they released every day. This is precisely why hot tubs are built differently for guesthouses: larger water volume, powerful filtration and automatic water treatment that maintains hygienic limits without manual dosing.

Always confirm the specific mode of your operation with the local KHS — it is assessed individually. We will prepare technical documentation for the hot tub for you for the operating rules.

How the collaboration works

Where our hot tubs are already serving guests

You can find our hot tubs in a hotel wellness center open to the public near our production facility, in a Prague wellness hotel with year-round outdoor operation, and in rental and wedding facilities where the hot tub is a paid service for the stay. We will be happy to arrange specific references and tours of our projects during a consultation.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need hygiene approval for a hot tub in a guesthouse?

If you provide swimming to guests, you are the operator of an artificial swimming pool: you need operating rules approved by the KHS, laboratory water tests and technology that continuously maintains the limits. Confirm the specific regime with the local KHS — we will provide you with technical documentation for the hot tub.

Can I use a regular home hot tub for guests?

We do not recommend it. A swimming pool up to 2 m³ in commercial operation must be drained and disinfected daily — it does not make operational sense. The commercial version with a larger volume, sand filtration and automatic water treatment is built exactly for this mode.

What does "automatic water treatment" mean?

The technology itself measures pH and disinfection, dispenses products and stores the values - the staff just checks the overview (also in the mobile application). Without this, you cannot maintain hygiene limits in daily operation.

How quickly will you resolve the problem?

We provide service with our own team throughout the Czech Republic and keep spare parts (Gecko/Balboa, pumps, heaters) in stock.

Do you also produce larger bathtubs for wellness facilities?

Yes — we manufacture to order including swim spa and atypical dimensions. The design is always based on your operation and space.
